Always at the service of our athletes
Although the importance of physiotherapy is well known to all running enthusiasts, it takes on even greater significance in trail running, a sport that exposes athletes to the risk of overuse disorders and frequent injuries. In view of this, the practice has been offered at the race finish since the inaugural edition (edition 0) in 2012.
Over the years the service has grown alongside the race thanks to the volunteers who support the athletes and the DXT organisation: the students of the Physiotherapy degree courses at the University of Padova, the amateur sports and cultural association “A piedi nudi” of Bologna and the physiotherapy practice “Cuorefisio” of Agordo (BL). Thanks to these valuable collaborations, in addition to the physiotherapy service at the finish, the KAILAS Dolomiti Extreme Trail offers further stations at the 'life bases' of Passo Staulanza and Fusine.
