Route description
Four hours of maximum time to travel the old mule tracks that link the natural villages of the Val di Zoldo with the lush surrounding woods: a magnificent, moving race in close contact with everyday village life, that awakens the desire to discover these fairy-tale places.
From the start in Forno (850 m) the route crosses the Pratoront plain and reaches Pralongo (km 4). After another kilometre on the road to Colcerver it takes the path that, through the Lavazé forest, descends to the Dont aid station (km 6); it climbs back to Villa and, on an undulating forest-pastoral road, to Astragal (km 9), then on via Casal, Cella and Campo to the finish in Forno, for an elevation gain of about 576 m.
Created to bring more and more people closer to mountain running, the 11K is held in a non-competitive format and opens its gates to young athletes too, with a simplified registration that does not require a medical certificate.
It is the chance to compete only with yourself, carried along by the enthusiasm of many other participants and always supported by a well-established organisation.
